Christmas Scavenger Hunt

It was the big day...the annual Christmas Scavenger Hunt. This year was hard to plan. We were in a new town and here in Cumming everything is spread out. It was hard to come up with places to go. I really didn't have a theme except that we needed to take crazy pictures at each stop. We got started and things quickly went down from there. 

 Here are all my happy campers in the car ready to go! 

The first stop was to go see Santa since we hadn't done that yet. This was also an area of contention since we have visited the same Santa for the past 7 years and this year we were heading somewhere new. Our usual Santa has very limited times to visit and it just wasn't going to work out. As soon as we got to Santa the complaining started about how long the line was (which btw wasn't very long). We finally got up to see Santa and  Kyle was especially excited. He proudly told Santa he wanted his fart gun, but then realized he wasn't actually getting it right there even though I explained that to him already. This made him upset, but we recovered quickly. After we saw Santa we found a photo booth and took some crazy fun pictures. It was onto our next stop.

 Our lunch stop! At this stop the arguing started between the boys! I was trying to stay positive and we got into the car to head to our next stop. Browns Bridge Church. 

 This was lots of complaining and arguing on the way, but once we got there they had fun making their pyramid. It was then onto our next stop, a new park. They got to play around for a while and we had fun coming up with our crazy picture.

Love these two pictures! Kyle was so proud to score a touchdown against his brothers! This is the stop where it all went downhill. The complaining and arguing just got worse and it pretty much was ruining the fun of the day so instead of continuing on with the scavenger hunt I drove them home. I have to admit I was so upset. I was so upset by their complaining and arguing and they were all just being mean to each other. It was taking away from the whole experience. You can't tell from the pictures, but this years scavenger hunt was a fail! At least we look happy in the pictures! We will try again next year.
