Owen, Owen, Owen

I wanted to take some time to tell you how special Owen is to us as his birthday approaches. We were not planning on getting pregnant so soon after Noah was born, but God had different plans for us and Owen arrived 17 months after my first kid. He not only looked different from Noah, but his personality was different. He was a very fussy baby and needed to be held all the time. He didn't smile a ton for the first 6 months of his life, but that quickly changed. His personality started to bloom and with out fail he does something everyday to make us laugh and laugh hard!

He is my cuddle bug. He needs to be on top of you if he is sleeping with you and he loves to curl up on your lap. He is always saying, "Mommy put your arm around me!" He is very sweet, sensitive and around others he comes across as shy, but trust me he isn't. Owen is a dare devil and will probably end up in hospital more times then his other two brothers combined. He is also the one that will probably hurt his other brothers more because he doesn't realize how rough he can be. He is very artistic and loves to color, paint, and draw. He can do it for hours. Of course he loves doing puzzle. He is my more laid back kid who just kind of goes with the flow and can entertain himself for hours. He loves music and country music is his favorite. He knows all the words to so many country music songs and he will randomly break out into song. He was singing at the top of his lungs the other day when we were in the grocery store. This leads me to our favorite thing about Owen, he is so funny! The things he says and does crack us up. Not only does he make Chris and I laugh, but Connor just looks at him and starts giggling. No one can make Connor laugh like Owen. He already knows at this age how to make people laugh and he is always joking around with us. His laugh is probably the greatest thing you have ever heard. Just the other day Noah and Owen were racing in the pool and Owen kept on losing so in order to try to beat his brother he pulled down Noah's pants while they were swimming. He does things like this all the time! The most famous thing that Owen is known for is his faces that he makes. I thought I would share with you how long they have been going on.

Gosh, I just love this kid! He is just one of those kids that is so much fun to be around and since Noah has been in school everyday we have gotton some more time alone and it has been great!
