Real Snow in GA!

Since we moved here we have had "snow" but nothing significant. It snows enough to cover the ground and is gone in a couple of hours. Yesterday they were calling for snow and I honestly didn't want it. I am over winter and I know all my northern relatives and friends are laughing, but for Atlanta it has been cold and wet. I also hate all the hype that comes with a couple of flakes. Well, much to my surprise we actually got snow! It started around 1pm and just kept on coming down. Everyone got into the fun and by the evening it looked really pretty. I actually enjoyed it and so did the boys. It is still here today and they are still having fun playing in the snow. We woke up this morning and all the trees were still covered and it reminded me just how pretty snow can be! I am also glad it is short lived here in the south. Down south you aren't prepared for the snow! We don't have the right clothes to play out in the snow and there has been a lot of wet clothes and a lot of laundry! Here are the pictures from our excitement this weekend. As it started to come down the boys played and played outside, sliding everywhere! Connor wasn't into it much, but his mood changed by the end of the day and we found some boots for him. Zoe loved and would chase the boys all over the lawn tackling them to the ground.
After dinner last night we took a walk to enjoy the snow some more and early this morning they were outside again playing. Can you tell Connor's mood change in the above picture?! They are currently having a snowball fight up at the neighbor's house. I don't think the snow will stick around much longer then tomorrow so they are enjoying while they can.

Hi guys....Ask mom and dad to show you how to make "angel wings" in the snow...I know I already have three little angels, but add those wings....Have fun...
