All Stars

Owen made the in park All Star team this year. There were 63 kids that tried out and 36 made it so we were pretty proud of him. He was on the White Lighting team and they had a great season. They went undefeated, but lost the championship game. In all stars the practices and games are a little more intense then the regular season and that was a challenge to Owen at times. The practices were two hours long and his coach worked them really hard during those two hours. He was committed though and even gave up going to Braves vs. Yankees game so he could play in a game that was rescheduled last minute. Now that is dedication! It was a good experience but at the same time I think we were all ready for baseball to come to an end and be able to take a little break from it. As of right now he says he is playing in the fall again. I think he is pretty excited about how much better he got this year.

 Just like last year when Noah played we got to order shirts with their team name and their names. Owen was pretty excited about this part.
