Kyle's Eye Surgery

Yesterday Kyle went in for his eye surgery. Both eyes needed to be corrected as they were not able to focus and would go crossed eye. We arrived at 6am to check in and was quickly put into a pre-op room where we meet with the doctor. It is amazing how they are able to do this surgery. He is put under and they go through the eye to cut the muscle and then reattach it so the eye will no longer go cross and he will look straight. The surgery lasted about 40 minutes and then he was in recovery for awhile. He was brought back to us pretty upset and on some heavy pain medication. He was also hooked up to an IV. He slept in my arms for awhile and then once he woke up and took a bottle we were able to head home. He was really uncomfortable the rest of the day. Poor little guy! Getting ready for surgery. Struggling after surgery!
His eyes are so red and will be for a couple of days.
Thanks to Mima for all your help! We couldn't of done it without her! Connor finally convinced her to get on the trampoline!
