Family Day-Football

So, this past Sunday Chris had to work so we didn't do our family night. Noah and Owen were not happy with that so we did it last night. It was a football theme. The boys have started to really get into football. If your not from the south then you don't understand how huge college football is down here. It was kind of a culture shock when we moved down, but we have slowly accepted it and kind of gotton into the whole college football thing also. We are Georgia fans because it made the most sense. The boys follow the games and who they are playing and will lay on the couch on Saturday and watch part of the game. So, we got in our Georgia gear and headed to the park for a football game. It was so much fun! The boys had a blast and so did Chris and I. It is so much fun to do this kind of stuff with them as they are getting are older.
Our own little mascot. He just kind of crawled around as we ran around and cheered when we cheered.
I think he might be our future quarterback. Look at that form!
I love these action shots and the look on their faces. They really tackle each other and love it!
The teams: Daddy and Noah against Mommy and Owen. It was a tie score.
Thanks to my friend Karen who lent me all this fun football stuff leftover for a party she had. How fun!
Of course we had to end the night with a football field cake. Also, the best part is that I already had all the food in the house, I borrowed the decorations, and the only thing we paid for today was a nerf football. We only had real ones! Gotta love it when everything comes together so smoothly like that!
