Owen decided this year to join Cub Scouts. We went to the information meeting and he was so excited to sign up and get started. It was a pretty big deal for him to do this and step out of his comfort zone. He doesn't like to do new things when he doesn't know anyone. After the first Den meeting he kind of got nervous and was thinking about backing out, but in the end decided to stick with scouts. Chris took him to get his uniform and he thinks it is super cool. The first time he put it on Connor said "Wow Owen! You look super cool!" Most boy scouts join when they are younger so we are working on earning his badges that he missed out on and he has been working hard and will be earning a couple of badges at his next packing meeting. Chris and I are hoping he sticks with it and goes all the way to Eagle Scout. We think he will love it and learn some very cool things!
