July means summer is almost over for us. I don't think I will ever get used to that. We haven't done much this summer since I am working and don't have time off, plus Chris left his job the end of May and has been working part time at Browns Bridge and then some odd jobs here and there. We did get out one day and did some exploring and found a nice park on the lake to have a picnic and to do some swimming.
The boys then headed up to Connecticut for some fun with the grandparents. They always have so much fun and come home full of stories and adventures. Chris drove them up and then flew home so it gave us some time to ourselves. We were really looking forward to some time alone, but the majority of the time we were dealing with some drama at our rental house and a reality tv show being filmed! It was pretty crazy.
Chris then flew back up and drove the boys home and got home on my birthday so we could celebrate together.
Owen started football practice also. This is his first year of tackle football and he is loving it! This picture was taken BEFORE practice. After practice he usually looked like he was going to collapse.
Did you know there is a National Sundae Day! Of course we had to celebrate.
These two spent hours and days building forts and planes with empty boxes.
Kyle visited the dentist for the first time.
One of our last summer outings before school begins. We went to Helen for a day of rafting on the river. It was super fun!
