Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving this year was at Dave and Kate's in Pensacola, FL. I will say Thanksgiving has taken on a whole new meaning and feel. I think I realized this two years ago when we were all together and it was busy the whole time. No more sitting around having conversations as adults. No more sitting and enjoying the meal. It is is constant activity, noise and someone one needing something. This will change, but for now this is how it will be until the kids get older and the kids just all love being together. We drove down on Tuesday afternoon and we carpooled with the Holcomb's, with Connor traveling with them. The excitement began once we got there and all 16 of us were in one house.
Dad sporting the apron for breakfast on Wednesday morning. After breakfast we headed to the Naval Museum which is very fun for all the kids. Lot to look at and do. That afternoon we kept busy by playing Wii Just Dance (which by the way I love way too much), playing outside and riding bikes. Dad getting his dance on. No one really needed a remote to play it was one big dance party. We pretty much took over the neighborhood! These three really love playing together and I took this so we could embarrass them later on in life. This is more appropriate and very cute!
The big kids! They did great playing with the little ones and were really helpful!
Is she not the cutest thing! Love this little girl and she keeps up with all these boys with no problem. The smallest ones who were constantly entertained by all that was going on. Below is just cute pictures of us hanging out. After the parade on Thanksgiving morning we headed to the beach to play some football. Checking out the beach. It was a gorgeous day. Let the game begin! On cheering section, maybe next year they will play.
Attempting a kid picture...not a good idea. After the beach we headed back and Kate got Thanksgiving dinner ready. After dinner we went around and did our annual what are we thankful for which is always cute to hear what the kiddos say. Charlie snuggling with Kyle which she said she was thankful for.
By the end of the day we were all tired and we all laid around watching a movie.
By the time the movie was over everyone was pretty much asleep. That is what you call a successful Thanksgiving. It was a great time all being together. We will all be together again in April for a beach vacation! Happy Thanksgiving!
